Armed Vessel Escort

GoAGT will supply your vessel with a dedicated escort by a heavily armoured 37.5 metre Yemen Navy Austal patrol boat.

Transiting 500 metres from your vessel throughout the entire journey, you are guaranteed the ultimate protection for your vessel and crew.

Operating within 25nm of the Yemen coastline to allow fast response by the Yemen Military means you receive additional immediate assistance in the event of an incident.

Armed Embarked Team

GoAGT will supply an armed team of 6 serving Yemen military or coastguard personnel to embark and protect your vessel between the GoAGT transit coordinates.

Unlike private security guards, our teams have official military training and extensive experience in dealing with Somali pirates and are therefore well disposed to deal with the threat of piracy and the conditions at sea.

Consisting of at least one English-speaking member, the armed team will be able to communicate with your crew and, should an attempted attack take place, with the pirates in local language via loud hailer devices.

Guards follow rules of engagement as directed by the Yemen military, who will also provide immediate assistance in the event of an incident.
